They’re responsible for transforming business requirements into technical requirements.\nResponsibilities are, but not limited to:\nTranslate business requirements into technical deliverables.\nPartner with project Sponsors to understand the need or problem being addressed.\nUnderstand the nuances of the business, complexities, and regulations in the firm and role.\nThink ahead of business Partners offering solutions to gaps that might have been overlooked.\nDesign low maintenance solutions.\nBrainstorm creative solutions that address existing technical debt where possible.\nNegotiate solutions with both the Stakeholders and developers to balance requests with what is technically possible.\nAppropriately push back on scope creep while maintaining good relationships with project sponsors.\nThe ideal candidate must:\nHave a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.\nHave 7+ years of experience in writing technical deliverables, including but not limited to wireframes, functional specifications, and data flows.\nCan understand technical aspects of the project and communicate them with technical resources.\nHave proven experience in writing technical specifications for all areas of IT, including but not limited to software development and integration, security, infrastructure, and data management.\nBe familiar with at least 3 SDLC methodologies.\nHave experience with SDLC tools – Jira is a plus.\nHave excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.\nHave excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and levels.\nSQL skillset (preferred).\nHave experience with writing logical class models (preferred).","company":"Citrincoopermanadvisorsllc","rawCompany":"citrincoopermanadvisorsllc","city":"Remote","state":"OR","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-08-06T12:58:31.156Z","occupations":[{"code":"15-1211.00","title":"Computer Systems Analysts","slug":"computer-systems-analysts"},{"code":"15-1252.00","title":"Software Developers","slug":"software-developers"},{"code":"27-3042.00","title":"Technical Writers","slug":"technical-writers"}],"industries":[{"code":"541512","title":"Computer Systems Design Services","slug":"computer-systems-design-services"},{"code":"541511","title":"Custom Computer Programming Services","slug":"custom-computer-programming-services"},{"code":"513210","title":"Software Publishers","slug":"software-publishers"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Technical Analyst, Development","description":"Citrin Cooperman offers a dynamic work environment, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
