Safety Manager – Solar ConstructionLocation: Remote (U.S.) with ~50% travel to project sitesEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewWe are seeking a Safety Manager to support a portfolio of solar construction projects (typically under 50 MW). This role will serve as a primary safety contact for the company, combining field presence with remote oversight.The ideal candidate is experienced in construction safety, strong in reporting and compliance, and comfortable working both independently and alongside field teams. This position requires approximately 50% travel, with the remaining time spent remotely managing safety reporting and program support.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary safety contact for projects and internal teamsConduct site visits, audits, and safety inspections to ensure complianceLead incident investigations and complete detailed reportsManage and maintain safety reporting, including tracking trends and corrective actionsPrepare regular safety reports for leadershipPartner with field teams to support safe work planning and executionProvide training and guidance to site personnel and subcontractorsEnsure compliance with OSHA and company safety standardsSupport development and improvement of safety programs and proceduresQualifications5+ years of construction safety experience (solar preferred)Strong knowledge of OSHA regulationsExperience with incident investigations and reportingAbility to manage safety documentation and dataWillingness to travel up to 50%Strong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work both remotely and in the fieldPreferredOSHA 30-hour certificationCHST, ASP, CSP, or similar certificationsExperience supporting multiple job sites simultaneously
