Cyber Software Engineer *\n\n*Software Engineer* to support our C&CS department.\n*Clearance:* Active TS//SI with Full Scope Polygraph\n\n*Work Location*\n\nThis position will be performed *on-site* at one of the following locations:\n\n* *9020 Junction Drive, Suite B, Annapolis Junction, MD*\n* *San Antonio, TX*\n* *Aurora, CO*\n* *Cary, NC*\n\n*Key Responsibilities*\n\nAs a member of the C&CS Department, the Cyber Software Engineer 2 will:\n\n* Design and develop custom software supporting *CNO tools and techniques*.\n* Design and develop *end-to-end data flows and tasking* for CNO tools.\n* Develop, integrate, test, and maintain software applications supporting assigned projects.\n* Program in one or more of the following languages: *Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python*.\n* Develop Windows applications using *Visual Studio and/or .NET* environments.\n* Develop UNIX/Linux applications using *Makefiles or comparable build environments*.\n* Support embedded or mobile platform development using proprietary, Government-Off-the-Shelf (GOTS), or open-source build environments.\n* Analyze user requirements and translate them into software design and implementation requirements.\n* Participate in *design, code, and software readiness reviews* in accordance with Government software development procedures and processes.\n* Author and maintain technical documentation for assigned projects.\n* Develop and execute software testing activities, including unit testing.\n* Participate in technical presentations and briefings related to assigned projects.\n* Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to support successful project execution.\n\n*Basic Qualifications*\n\n* *Active TS/SI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph through the ND Customer is required.*\n* Bachelor's degree in *Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering*, or a related technical field, with *8 years of relevant experience*;\n\n*OR*\n\n* Master's degree with *6 years of relevant experience*;\n\n*OR*\n\n* Ph.D. with *4 years of relevant experience*.\n* Experience developing and working with *CNO tools and techniques*.\n* Experience with *network socket programming*, including development of packet-level applications.\n* Expert-level understanding of *IP, TCP, and application-layer protocols*.\n* Software development experience in one or more of the following environments:\n* *Windows applications* using Visual Studio and/or .NET.\n* *UNIX/Linux applications* using Makefiles or comparable build environments\n\n*Preferred Qualifications*\n\n* Experience analyzing user requirements and deriving software design and performance requirements.\n* Experience with software analysis and/or reverse engineering.\n* Knowledge of CNO development concepts and methodologies.\n* Experience with unit testing frameworks and best practices.\n* Experience participating in formal software design, code, and readiness reviews.\n* Strong technical documentation and presentation skills.\n\nPay: $70.00 -
