The successful candidate will develop and support the implementation of EHS procedures.\n\nThey will be a technical resource for the Critical Operations team members and involved in the oversight and planning, as it relates to the environment, health, and safety, for critical maintenance and special projects. They will create goals for continually improving all aspects of data center safety to ensure we are minimizing risks and protecting people. Additionally, they will support the EHS aspects of commissioning data centers and the hand-off from construction to operations. The role requires a creative mind, a desire to get things done, knowledge of regulations and best practices for operating data centers, a skill in developing relationships, a passion for people, and a sincere desire to improve every day. Being successful at STACK requires adaptability, attention to detail, commitment to doing the right thing, and the energy to respond to immediate needs while planning for the future. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\n\nWorking with Critical Operations to implement effective management processes to address high-risk activities including electrical safety, lockout/tagout, fall protection, and contractor management.\nDeveloping and implementing health and safety procedures.\nIdentifying and mitigating risks associated with multi-employer worksites.\nCreating content and providing safety training on various topics covered under 29 CFR 1910.\nAssisting with the implementation of health and management systems (eg. ISO 45001).\nLeading incident investigations utilizing effective root cause analysis tool and overseeing the implementation of corrective actions.\nConducting site assessments and assisting Critical Operations teams with identifying and implementing corrective actions.\n\nTHE DETAILS\n\nLocation:Santa Teresa, NM\nTravel: 50%\nMust be eligible to work in the United States\nMust pass a comprehensive background screening\n\nMUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nBachelor’s degree or military experience in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Electrical Safety, Mechanical Systems, or related field.\nMinimum 10 years’ experience with health and safety in critical operations environments; ideally data center operations.\nCSP or similar safety certification.\nData center or critical operations experience.\nExperience with electrical safety and working knowledge of NFPA 70E.\nExperience communicating with leadership and providing business justifications for occupational health solutions.\nStrong organizational skills.\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills.\n\nCompensation Range:\n\n$133,000.00 - $154,000.00\n\nTHIS MIGHT BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF:\n\nYou are a strong communicator, you are persuasive and clear, blending analytics with experience in decision-making.\n\nYou do not get flustered easily.
