In this role, you will help develop a solution in full, from high-level system design and configuration to application development and data integration. You will leverage everything around you: core company products, open-source technologies, and anything you and your team can build to drive real impact.\r\nResponsibilities Designs, creates, and builds web application features; creates back-end code and interfaces for new web platforms; analyzes user needs to implement front-end design, graphics, performance, and capacity; integrates applications with other platforms as needed.\r\nSolid understanding of LLM and AI concepts\r\nCollaborates with other team members across multiple functional areas (engineering, DevOps, UX, Product, Scrum Master)\r\nExperience using modern, open-source software frameworks to prototype and deploy full-stack web applications, including all aspects of server-side processing, data storage, networking, content delivery, and monitoring.\r\nAuthors friendly documentation (e.g., API documentation, deployment operations).\r\nQuickly adopts new programming tools, frameworks, and techniques.\r\nUnderstands and accounts for the challenges involved in managing access to and usage of large data sets\r\nTranslates designs and wireframes into reusable, testable and efficient front-end code\r\nBuilds, iterates, and tests scalable, back-end APIs for web applications\r\nDesigns and develops data models to optimize data access for web applications\r\nIntegrates 2nd and 3rd party platforms and APIs\r\nParticipates in Agile processes including daily standups, demos, retrospectives, and sprint planning\r\nWorks closely with product owners, business analysts, designers, and engineers to gather, refine and implement business requirements\r\nProvides support, maintenance, and enhancements to the existing system\r\nCollaborates with a fully integrated Agile team to deliver continuous improvement to designs, processes, and standards.\r\nOther duties as needed\r\nRequirements Required Qualifications\r\nMinimum of 7 years related experience.\r\nExpertise with modern web application frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Flask, Playwright, Poetry, OpenAPI,\r\nExperience with testing frameworks and tools such as Cucumber, PyTest\r\nExperience with AI/Agent Platforms such as LangChain, LangGraph, etc\r\nDeep understanding of APIs, and familiarity with JSON, Web APIs, REST APIs, JSON-RPC, XML-RPC, RESTful practices, and GraphQL\r\nExperience in implementing, deploying, and maintaining both relational and non-relational databases like SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or similar\r\nExperience with Vector Databases and Graph Databases, Neo4j, Qdrant, Pinecone\r\nExperience working with Redis\r\nExperience with Docker containerization and deployments\r\nExtensive experience using Git and CI/CD platforms to deliver safe releases at a rapid rate.\r\nExperience in AWS cloud data architecture\r\nExperience K8s and Terraform experience required\r\nExperience working on a fully integrated Agile product team smaller than 10 people.\r\nExperience with benchmarking, monitoring, and performance engineering applications with tools such as Grafana, Sentry, and Prometheus\r\nA demonstrated preference for the \"correct\" amount of unit and integration tests, across a variety of platforms.\r\nStrong documentation and problem-solving skills\r\nFlexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.\r\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment\r\nExperience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence.\r\nExcellent command of written and spoken English.\r\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, residing in the United States\r\nCommunicates technical information to non-technical audience.\r\nDesired Qualifications Knowledge of AuthN and AuthZ systems, including Okta, OAuth, SAML and AWS IAM Policies/Roles using attribute-based access controls\r\nKnowledge of message queues/buses and their associated design patterns (Kinesis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS)\r\nWorking Environment eSimplicity supports a remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients.
