{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"80681c94cb621706d6d11fed","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/80681c94cb621706d6d11fed","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/80681c94cb621706d6d11fed","title":"Process Automation Engineer","description":"The primary responsibility of the Process Automation System (PAS) Engineer is to ensure the delivery of projects executed by their Group.\nMeet or exceed customer and client project success criteria with the objective of maximizing both short-term and long-term profitability.\nThe PAS Engineer will serve as the technical point of contact between the Project Manager and the technical disciplines involved in large, complex, or strategic projects executed by their group.\nPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities:\nEnsure delivery of projects executed by their Group meets or exceeds customer and client project success criteria.\nThe ability to interpret technical documents, requirements, and design specifications with aggressive attention to detail.\nAbility to read, and understand the following types of industry-standard engineering drawings:\nSystem/Network Architecture for Industrial Control Systems\nP&IDs\nElectrical Power Wiring Diagrams, including AC (120V) and DC power distribution.\nGrounding Wiring\nControl Panel Layout and related Bill of Materials\nTerminal Block Layout\nInstallation Details (control panel assembly)\nFabrication Details (sheet metal parts and components)\nLoop Sheets (per ISA S5.2)\nPLC/DCS I/O Termination\nCable Block Diagrams\nAbility to compile, organize, and maintain supporting documentation obtained from OEM suppliers, external customer representatives, component suppliers, and internal team members.\nWork with the Resource Manager to forecast resource needs for current and upcoming projects. Ensure resources are assigned to projects to optimize customer satisfaction and The client profitability.\nCreate an environment for a highly motivated and engaged team of professionals.\nDevelop partnerships with customers and act as the focal point for ensuring customer satisfaction across all the project work undertaken by the Group.\nProactively provide support to the sales team in developing and winning new business with current and new customers in the assigned industry.\nAssist sales and engineering leadership in developing and executing industry-specific strategies to grow revenue and profitability in assigned industries.\nOther Duties:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
