The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, leadership, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage complex projects and collaborate effectively across teams.\nTHE ROLE\nWe are seeking an experienced Construction Manager, preferably with a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Louisiana to oversee construction activities on municipal infrastructure projects. This role will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.\nDuties within the role include:\nManage and oversee construction projects from pre-construction through closeout\nServe as the primary liaison between clients (municipal agencies), contractors, and internal design teams\nReview construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for constructability and compliance\nHave experience in material testing methods/requirements and the review of the material testing results performed during construction.\nManage construction materials testing methods/requirements and the review of the material testing results performed during construction.\nPerform and/or manage Davis Bacon Act interviews and submission of required reports to clients.\nMonitor project schedules, budgets, and progress; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies\nConduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations\nCoordinate and lead construction meetings, including progress updates and issue resolution\nReview and approve contractor submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications\nEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including Louisiana-specific requirements\nMaintain accurate project documentation and reporting\nSupport business development efforts as needed, including client engagement and proposal input\nManage the daily activities/services of the Resident Project Representative (RPR).
