Commercial Janitor

Job Description We are seeking a Commercial Janitor to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment.Ideal candidate: Enjoys working independently as well as part of a team, detailed-oriented, dependable, enjoys taking ownership and pride in the cleanliness of your assignment, enjoys a sense of accomplishment at the end of each shift, able to lift up to 30 lbs and able to wear a backpack vacuum weighing 10-15 lbs.Job Position Description:This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customer's buildings and grounds by performing the following duties and responsibilities. Duties include but not limited to:Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided products, tools and proceduresSweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dustingMaintain inventory of supplies and equipment.Use proper PPE where requiredOpens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as required.Organize custodial closets and spacesMaintain working condition of cleaning equipmentPhysical Demands and Qualifications:Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reachingMust be able to lift and/or carry up to 45lbs.Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses.On the job training provided to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude.Contribute to the overall team effort including being dependable.Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect.Pay starting at $16 for training with an increase after training is completed, additional pay increase is available based on performance.**Must have reliable vehicle to commute between job sites****Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen***Please note jobs site is located in Junction CIty, must be willing and able to commute.
