This role independently conducts queries of large military health administrative datasets to support evidence-based decision-making across the Center's data management and psychological health surveillance functions.\n\nThe Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:\n\nIndependently conduct queries of large military health administrative data to create analyzable datasets supporting research and epidemiological studies.\nDevelop and maintain conventions for naming, labeling, and storing data tables from multiple health and administrative data sources.\nUse structured query language to generate analytic data files and transform variables per project requirements.\nInteract with enterprise medical databases to conduct epidemiological, clinical surveillance, and medical intelligence investigations.\nProduce technical artifacts (e.g., reports, tools, briefings, presentations, and manuscripts) consistent with the PHCoE mission set.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nMaster's Degree\nAt least 13 years of full-time work experience analyzing large administrative healthcare data.\nAt least 3 years of full-time experience accessing, navigating, and conducting analyses within the MHS Information Platform (MIP) or its predecessor systems.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n Doctorate\nAdvanced proficiency with SAS, SQL, or R for data management and analysis.\nProven experience creating data visualizations and dashboards for executive audiences.\n\nBenefits:\n\nHealth (PPO & HDHP) Insurance, Dental, Vision, STD & LTD, Basic Life Insurance, 401k Company Match, & Voluntary Products.\n\nKnowesis is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals based on merit and qualifications.
