Stockers must prioritize merchandise by order of importance (i.e., empty wrangler shelves should be restocked before empty polish racks are restocked). Stockers are also responsible for keeping the store neat and clean inside and outside.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nSupport the “Cavender’s Culture” and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values\nSupport stocking tasks accurately and efficiently\nKeep work area neat, clean, and organized\nBe knowledgeable of all CBC policies and procedures\nBe knowledgeable of all CBC stocking procedures:\nReturn to Stock (RTS)\nReturn to Vendor (RTV)\nValidating packing slips\nTagging merchandise\nSensor tagging merchandise (if applicable)\nKeep back-stock moving out to the sales floor to the proper locations\nReport to work promptly, neatly groomed, and appropriately dressed\nBe security conscious at all times\nPerform all other miscellaneous duties as assigned\nWork with supervisors to understand all actions needed to impact the desired goals set by the company (i.e. Web order completion rate, Company, or Vendor contests)\nQualifications and Requirements\nJob requires associate to raise or lower objects from one level to another regularly during shift\nJob requires associate, on a regular basis, to carry objects up to 50 lbs\nJob requires that the associate regularly pick up objects up to 50 lbs\nAbility to comprehend basic instructions\nAbility to interpret documents\nAbility to apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks\nAbility to understand the meanings of words and effectively respond\nAssociate must be able to read English.\nAssociate must be able to understand English\nAssociate must be able to stay alert during work hours assigned\n\nCavender’s is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
