Required skills: Valid New York state RN license Current BLS certification with ability to recertify Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care hospital setting of similar size or trauma level Experience with EPIC electronic medical records preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities No history of license suspension, investigation, or professional liability claims Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check Verification of legal right to work in the U.S. Nice to have skills: Previous utilization review or case management experience Familiarity with healthcare compliance and documentation standards Additional certifications in healthcare management or related fields Preferred education and experience: Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred At least 2 years of recent acute care RN experience, especially in hospital or trauma center environments Other requirements: This position is on a day shift with 8-hour shifts Travel consideration only for those experienced in hospital settings of equal or greater size or trauma centers Ability to adapt to electronic medical record systems and multi-disciplinary collaboration Take the next step in your nursing career by applying today!
