Workday Configuration AnalystLocation: Pennington, NJ / Charlotte NC (On-site)Duration: 12 monthsRole OverviewThe Workday Configuration Analyst is responsible for HR system administration, including business process configuration, reporting development, and end-user training. This role supports the maintenance of Workday as a premier, employee-experience-focused platform. The position involves collaboration with Workday team members, IT, business partners, vendors, and business leaders to meet the organization's HR technology requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure complex Workday business processes, with a focus on Payroll, including integrations and troubleshooting.Perform administrative functions such as tenant configuration, data loads, integrations, and reporting.Review business procedures and workflows to ensure system features are fully utilized and identify opportunities for efficiency.Work within an established systems environment by defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.Provide pre- and post-launch end-user support, change management, issue resolution, testing, and training.Manage mass information loading via EIBs and test integration inputs and outputs.Create reports to audit the effectiveness of configuration changes.Document technology specifications for current and future configurations.Maintain change management documentation to satisfy internal and external audit controls.Serve as the domain support for feature releases and issue resolution.Required QualificationsExperience:Proven experience in configuring complex Workday business processes.Knowledge of creating reports for auditing configuration changes.Ability to mass load information via EIBs.Experience with Security Testing and Security Support.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.3+ years of Workday HCM experience.Workday Pro or Workday Certifications.A solid understanding of at least three Workday modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Payroll, Time, Absence, and Benefits.Workday Integrations experience.Knowledge of Workday business process, core setup, and security framework.Deep understanding of the Workday data model, corporate system architecture, interfaces, and reporting.
