Job Description Packaging Operator – Sparks, MD (3rd Shift Weekend)Pay Rate: $18.87/hourShift: D Shift (Weekend Shift)Friday, Saturday, and Sunday5:45 PM – 6:00 AMInterview Process:Phone InterviewOnsite Interview and Plant TourPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Operator to support the inspection, labeling, packaging, and documentation of clinical and commercial products in a regulated manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products meet quality standards and customer requirements while maintaining accurate production records and adhering to safety and contamination control procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of finished products.Package products according to established procedures and quality specifications.Inspect packaging components and in-process materials to ensure consistent quality standards.Identify and remove defective products, packaging materials, or components.Complete packaging operations to meet production schedules and customer demand requirements.Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation, including batch records, device history records, and inventory records.Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory management activities.Complete basic mathematical calculations required for production documentation and batch record completion.Participate in safety audits, safety observations, and daily safety discussions.Perform routine cleaning of packaging stations and production equipment.Follow all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and contamination control procedures.Handle and dispose of hazardous waste according to established procedures.Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with quality standards.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Minimum of 1 year of work experience in manufacturing, packaging, production, warehouse, quality inspection, assembly, or related environments.Experience gained while attending school may be considered.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Experience maintaining accurate documentation and records.Basic computer skills and familiarity with common business software applications.Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as required.Preferred ExperienceExperience in one or more of the following areas:Packaging OperationsManufacturing ProductionAssemblyWarehouse OperationsQuality InspectionMedical Device ManufacturingPharmaceutical ManufacturingInventory ControlProduction DocumentationGMP-Regulated EnvironmentsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Frequent use of hands for inspection, packaging, and documentation tasks.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.Ability to wear required PPE and protective gowning.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while following contamination control procedures. If you are interested, please reach out to Chin Yang at A-Line Staffing.
