The ideal candidate will have a technical background, in addition to advanced managerial skills and experience.\n\nThis is your opportunity to work in an environment where employees truly believe in the products they produce and the culture is focused on putting people first, working better together, being customer centered, being forward thinking and always committed to excellence.\n\nFlexco has consistently been named to the list of \"101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For\" by the National Association of Business Resources and is consistently recognized as a top charitable contributor in the area.\n\nA Manufacturing Manager at Flexco can expect starting compensation of between $90,000 and $115,000 per year, or more, depending on skills, experience and education.\n\nPurpose: Perform functions to guide and nurture the skills and knowledge of team members to support and achieve company goals and objectives.\n\nWhat you will need:\n\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\nTechnical knowledge or expert-level experience with manufacturing processes\nMinimum of 4 years’ experience in manufacturing\nExposure to a manufacturing environment is required\nAbility to support employees in their growth and success through feedback, instruction, and encouragement.\nWhat you will be doing:\n\nManaging a team of production professionals within a manufacturing setting\nBeing a member of the safety team leading safety programs and sub-teams.\nAssuring audits are completed on time, implementing departmental safety suggestions, identifying unsafe conditions and managing all aspects of a safety incident\nLearning and understanding quality procedures and inspections and assure compliance.\nWorking directly with Quality personal to resolve issues and answer questions.\nLeading and actively implementing a continuous improvement environment.\nLeading team members to achieve company goals by actively managing team performance using data and performance measures.\nUsing formal and informal feedback to provide teams with leadership and support\nTaking ownership of executing the production schedule; anticipate and respond to changes in workflow and deploy overtime as necessary.
