BGSF has teamed up with a large manufacturing company based in Aurora, who is in search of a Corporate Controller. The ideal candidate for this will come with at least several years of management level experience and have experience working in the manufacturing industry. Please note this is a direct-hire opportunity and will operate on a hybrid schedule (In office Tuesday - Thursday). This organization also offers excellent benefits which includes 4 weeks of PTO, 401k with match, profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, annual bonus and a strong work-life balance. Job Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to executive leadership. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting systems. Accounting Operations Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and payroll. Lead the monthly and year-end close processes and ensure timely completion. Oversee cost accounting processes specific to manufacturing, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate product costing and inventory controls. Internal Controls & Compliance Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance. Coordinate and support internal and external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting. Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and professional growth. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
