Below is a list of some that you will learn:\nAutomated parts retrieval systems\nX-Ray parts counting system\nWhat you will learn:\nThe person taking the role of Material Handler will learn all aspects of the department from receiving to kitting and releasing WO’s to the production floor. Many systems include Aptean ERP system, using Access databases daily to perform job duties, Microsoft Excel and Outlook. You will also learn to use our new and advanced technology storage systems such as Juki, Modula and Visiconsult X-ray parts counter. Not only will you learn to use the machine you will get an understanding of how all the systems work together.\nDESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE. High School diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and engineering and management staff.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nREASONING ABILITY. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. In this role, the employee will frequently engage in tasks requiring manual dexterity, including handling objects and reaching. Standing will be required for approximately 80-90% of the work time.
