The Bartender/Attendant will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food.\r\nTo succeed as a Bartender/Attendant you should have a neat appearance and engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable.\r\nBartender Responsibilities:\r\nWelcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.\r\nPlanning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.\r\nSelecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.\r\nChecking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.\r\nTaking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.\r\nAdhering to all food safety and quality regulations.\r\nHandling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.\r\nMaintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.\r\nDeveloping new cocktail recipes.\r\nBartender Requirements:\r\nHigh School Diploma.\r\nBartending License.\r\nAdditional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.\r\nMeets state minimum age to serve alcohol.\r\nAvailability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.\r\nPositive, engaging personality and professional appearance.\r\nBasic math and computer skills.\r\nExceptional interpersonal and communication skills.\r\nStrong task and time management abilities.\r\nEye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.\r\nMust be 21+\r\nAttendant Responsibilities:\r\nMaintain standards of Food and Beverage quality and guest service quality.\r\nGreet residents and guests.\r\nEnsure prompt requests for drink orders.\r\nPresent menus, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.\r\nObserve guests to fulfill any additional requests and to perceive when meal portions have been completed.\r\nClear and reset tables.\r\nComplete all side work as assigned.\r\nMaintain a clean work and storage area.\r\nMay assist in the set-up, cleaning, and refreshing of the function rooms.\r\nAttend department meetings.\r\nProcess all orders using Point of Sale system (POS) and collect payment from customers, and provide assistance in Food and Beverage areas including busing, cleaning, resetting tables, and delivering food to residents.\r\nPerform general cleaning and maintenance of Food and Beverage prep areas, counting the bank at end of shifts, and following property control audit standards and cash handling procedures.\r\nBenefits:\r\nTouchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
