This hybrid position includes an excellent benefits package, salary commensurate with experience, and challenging assignments.Responsibilities:Perform audit, review, compilation or accounting procedures as assigned by supervisorsIn-charge audits, including planning, directing fieldwork and supervising staffDocument understanding of accounting systems and transaction flows, reviews and tests internal controlsUnderstand basic business environment performs basic analytical proceduresPrepare financial statements and footnotesPrepare working trial balance and adjusting journal entriesMaintain property and equipment records, and calculate depreciation and amortizationPrepare and reconcile account schedules as requiredDemonstrate effective project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and serviceDevelop a relationship with engagement-related clientsMaintain contact with clients throughout the year; possess a knowledge of the client and the client's businessSkills / Qualifications:CPA certification a plus but not required4+ years of comprehensive audit accounting experience, including public accounting experienceSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyCapable and motivated to provide our clients with excellent timely serviceEfficient project management skills, including multi-tasking by managing multiple projects and deadlinesExcellent organizational and time management skillsExhibit effective verbal and written communication skills with clients and co-workersFlexible and willing to work additional hours, when requiredAbout Harding Shymanski:Established in 1975, Harding Shymanski & Company, P.S.C.
