This position provides an exciting opportunity to work directly with wildlife biologists and researchers to develop custom tracking solutions for wildlife studies and conservation programs.If you are passionate about wildlife, technology, and helping scientists succeed in the field, we would like to hear from you.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Sales/Account Manager within Vectronic Aerospace’s Wildlife Division. The position is based in Coralville, IA. The individual will manage client accounts and assist scientists and wildlife professionals with the technical application of Vectronic products. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining customer relationships, identifying opportunities to provide solutions, presenting products effectively, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction. Provide personalized customer support and technical troubleshooting while managing customer expectations and project timelines. Assist with development and testing of new technologies and products. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for preparing sales proposals, analyzing market trends, and attending industry events to grow the company's presence in the wildlife monitoring market.QualificationsProficiency in technical sales and account management, including client communication and relationship-buildingDetail-oriented with a commitment to customer service and project completion.Experience with wildlife telemetry or animal tracking systems is highly desirable.Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to identify business opportunitiesExperience in presenting technical products and preparing detailed sales proposalsStrong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple client accountsStrong problem-solving, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.Knowledge of wildlife monitoring, or related fields is an advantageExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to travel and attend industry events as neededAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced seasonal environment.Ability to work collaboratively as an interface between wildlife biologists and engineers.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Sales, Biology, Environmental Science, or related disciplines
