Medical Assistant with LMR Certification Required - Louisville

We are looking for a Medical Assistant with LMR Certification to work in our fast paced podiatric clinic.Duties Include But Are Not Limited ToAssists the doctor by collecting pertinent patient informationPerforms selected treatments, diagnostic procedures, and various xraysAssisting physicians with minor in-office medical proceduresScheduling testing procedures such as MRI'sCommunicating patient needs with physiciansDirect patient careCompleting forms/referrals/recerts and updating chartsPerforms all radiographic exams and is responsible for all film qualityMaintains radiation safety per departmental policyKeeps all x-ray equipment and supplies clean, maintained and stocked.Application of splints, braces and wound dressings in correct manner.Assist physician with exams/procedures.Other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent requiredMedical Assistance Certification requiredLimited Radiographer Certification requiredBasic Life Support Certification required2+ of LMR experienceDirect patient care experience preferredBenefits401(k)AD&D insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offJob Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday - Friday
