Job Description Forklift Driver / Material HandlerHours for this shift:Monday- Friday 1:00P-11:30PMBema, Incorporated and Elite Extrusion Technology, a recognized leader in the flexible packaging industry, is looking for an experienced Forklift Driver/Material Handler with a proven track record in supporting a fast-paced organization. Bema encourages innovation from its associates, employs the latest technology and has aggressive expansion plans.Duties and Responsibilities:Must be able to able to use a forklift and perform daily checks.Take material from dock area making sure all paperwork matches.Move finished goods from production floor in a timely manner.Issue supplies to the production area as needed.Assist in scrap removal.Operate scanner and assist in inventory counts.Maintain the cleanliness in the facility and follow Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.Compliance to all company policies, regulations and procedures is requiredPerform other duties as directed by pressman, supervisor or managementHelps ensure all policies for the company and the American Institute of Baking (AIB) are followed.Requirements:High School graduateGood mechanical abilityGood communication skills, both written and verbalStrong reading, writing and math abilitiesComputer skills for inventory controlAbility to work second shift and overtimePrevious forklift and material handling experienceTeam PlayerPhysically demanding position: long periods standing, bending, squatting, reaching and pulling. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.Salary for this position is based on, among other things, a candidate's experience and qualifications.
