Join us in building a better future, one water drop at a time.\nWe're seeking a Engineering Project Manager who will work with clients and vendors to design water and wastewater treatment solutions that meet the customer’s needs. The ideal candidate will have a PE license in at least one state and will have a firm understanding of the various technologies in the WTP and WWTP industry.\nResponsibilities\nManage water and wastewater treatment engineering projects.\nTranslate customer requirements into functional system designs.\nReview pre-construction design and documentation.\nPrepare meeting agendas and document meeting minutes.\nManage sub-consultant agreements, work tasks and project budgets.\nSupport the sales team by assisting with technical design, estimating hours, and highlighting logistical challenges.\nGenerate functional system descriptions and diagrams.\nPerform system calculations from preliminary to final design.\nProvide markups for plans and lead cost estimates.\nCoordinate with project staff, other disciplines, subconsultants, clients, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work.\nManage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope.\nAssist in proposal development, scopes of work, and fee schedule preparation.\nMentor junior staff with technical and professional development.\nCollaborate with and manage external engineering firms and consultants.\nReview and approve final design of projects.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, environmental or other related field), or Construction Management\n8+ years of relevant experience.\nLicensed Professional Engineer in one or more states preferred.\nKnowledge and understanding of water and wastewater treatment technologies.\nExperience with general construction, utilities, and/or water and wastewater treatment plants.\nAbility to read and understand civil, mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings.\nAbility to create process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).\nProficient with MS Office products and other standard software packages.\nProficient with CAD and other design software platforms.\nLocation & Travel:\nThis is a remote-based position. The Engineering Project Manager will be required to travel to job sites up to 4-6 days per month.\nIWS offers:\nCompetitive salary and benefits including:\nPTO and 8 company-paid holidays\n401k\nSalary range* : $110-$150k, plus project bonuses!\n*The provided base salary range is used nationally.
