Candidates must have strong MS/TELE experience, recent Epic and phlebotomy experience, and be willing to float as needed.\n\nRequirements\n\n* Active RN license.\n* *2+ years of recent MS/TELE experience – Required.*\n* *Recent Epic experience within the last 12 months – Required* and must be clearly listed on the resume.\n* *Recent phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months – Required.*\n* *BLS and ACLS – Required.*\n* Nursing degree from an *ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program – Required.*\n* Must be willing to float.\n* Charge Nurse experience highly preferred; candidates without charge experience must be willing to train.\n* Strong telemetry and medical/surgical nursing skills.\n* Must successfully complete required Summa competency, skills, EKG/telemetry, pharmacology, and core competency assessments.\n\nUnit Details\n\n* 30-bed MS/TELE acuity-adaptable unit.\n* Patient ratios generally range from *1:5–6*, depending on acuity.\n* Responsibilities include medical/surgical and telemetry patient care.\n* Floating is required.\n\nCharge Nurse Responsibilities\n\nCharge Nurse responsibilities may include:\n\n* Assigning patient assignments.\n* Pyxis and crash cart checks.\n* Assigning admissions.\n* Coordinating with the supervisor.\n* Assigning breaks and meals.\n* Making assignments based on patient care needs for the next shift.\n\nSchedule & RTO\n\n* *RTO must be provided at the time of submission.*\n* Maximum *7 days of RTO* permitted.\n* *No RTO during the first two weeks* of the assignment.\n* Block schedules may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.\n* Clearly indicate in the submission comments if the candidate is interested in a block schedule.\n* *Solid black scrubs required.*\n\nInterview\n\nAn interview is required.
