Various insurance plan knowledge is a plus (VSP, EyeMed, Spectera, Davis).\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n- Performs diagnostic tests and obtain detailed medical history\n- Performs testing: Optomap, Visual Field, Topography or OCT scans, Lensometry, Autorefractor, Tonometry\n- Explains to patient clearly expectations with workup and exam with doctor\n- Understands how to prioritize and maintain efficient patient/doctor workflow\n- Triage phone calls, medication refills, and patient queries\n- Schedule appointments, confirm patient appointments, and collect exam co-pays.\n- Great patient rapport, customer service skills, and a team player. Able to take instructions well and gain additional skills/knowledge.\nRequired Skills and Abilities:\n- Optical experience preferred, but not required.
