The Electrical Apprentice will work under the supervision of a licensed electrician to assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. This entry-level position provides valuable hands-on experience and opportunities for technical and professional growth.\nJob Responsibilities\nAssist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, outlets, lighting fixtures, and other systems according to code and safety standards.\nWork alongside licensed electricians to learn trade skills and procedures.\nRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.\nUtilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment safely and effectively.\nAdhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements on the job site.\nMaintain accurate records of work performed, supplies used, and hours logged.\nCommunicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients as needed.\nAssist with routine maintenance checks and support troubleshooting and problem solving.\nAttend ongoing training and classes as required by the apprenticeship program.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nBasic mechanical aptitude and interest in electrical work.\nAbility to follow instructions, safety regulations, and procedures.\nWillingness to enroll in or currently enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program.\nComfortable working at heights, outdoors, and in confined spaces as needed.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and climbing ladders.\nValid driver’s license and clean driving record (if travel is required).\nStrong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.\nBasic math and reading skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCompletion of pre-apprenticeship or vocational training program in electrical or related trades.\nPrevious experience working in construction, maintenance, or similar fields.\nExposure to electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.\nBasic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, or mobile apps for documentation).\nBenefits, after 90 days of employment:\nVacation and 6-paid holidays\nOptions for medical, dental, and vision\nAflac supplemental insurance\nRetirement plan with 3% company match\nTraining and certification support\nCompany vehicle\nStable, year round work\nEqual Opportunity Statement\nOur company is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
