Since 2019, we have provided high-quality instruction in SAT and academic test preparation, mathematics, coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, and other STEM-related subjects.\nWe are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging SAT tutor to teach students at our Brooklyn campus. The ideal candidate is confident teaching SAT Math, Reading, and Writing concepts and can help students improve both their academic skills and test-taking strategies.\nResponsibilities\nTeach individual or small-group SAT preparation classes.\nExplain SAT Math, Reading, and Writing concepts clearly and effectively.\nHelp students develop test-taking, time-management, and problem-solving strategies.\nIdentify students’ strengths and areas for improvement.\nPrepare lesson materials, practice exercises, and homework when needed.\nTrack student progress and provide constructive feedback.\nMaintain an organized, supportive, and encouraging classroom environment.\nCommunicate professionally with FS Education staff and parents.\nQualifications\nStrong knowledge of the current SAT format and tested subject areas.\nExcellent communication and classroom-management skills.\nAbility to explain complex concepts in a clear and student-friendly way.\nReliable, patient, organized, and professional.\nPrior SAT tutoring, teaching, or test-preparation experience is preferred.\nBachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a college or graduate program is preferred.\nA strong SAT score is highly preferred.\nCurrent teachers, graduate students, and high-achieving college students are welcome to apply.\nSchedule\nPart-time position.\nWeekday evenings and/or weekends.\nClasses are held in person at our Brooklyn campus.\nHow to Apply\nPlease submit your resume along with the following information:\nYour SAT score, if available.\nSubjects you are qualified to teach.\nYour teaching or tutoring experience.\nYour weekday evening and weekend availability.\nFS Education is an equal opportunity employer.
