W2 - Please let me know what you seek.The Technical Project Specialist L1 is a critical role on our Design, Engineering, and Construction team within the Security Services department, supporting small moves, adds, and changes (SMAC) of security systems. This position requires technical knowledge of planning and security systems, with a proven ability to manage 50+ PoP, COLO, or other projects concurrently and on an ongoing basis.ResponsibilitiesHigh-Volume Project Management:Lead and manage 50+ technical projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and execution across multiple security workstreams (access control, video, alarms, monitoring/GSOC integrations) in PoP, COLO, and other environments.Standardized Process DesignDevelop and implement standardized processes and best practices from initiation to completion, partnering with SMEs to ensure consistency and scalability across all projects.Cross-Functional CoordinationFoster strong partnerships across Facilities, SiteOps, Networking, Construction, Logistics, Security Engineering, and vendor partners, prioritizing and balancing workload demands to meet aggressive project deadlines for numerous concurrent initiatives.Audit & Compliance LeadershipManage auditing processes for new builds and ongoing projects, ensuring security deliverables are tracked, tested, documented, and transitioned to steady-state operations with clear ownership, supporting audit test programs and fieldwork across multiple sites.Performance Metrics & ReportingOversee and analyze performance metrics (throughput, cycle time, schedule variance, defect/rework rates, commissioning/acceptance pass rates) to evaluate progress and success across a high volume of projects.Change Management & CommunicationCreate sustainable communication themes and systematic routines for clients, including recurring status reporting, stakeholder updates, and readiness checklists for security changes across multiple projects.Risk & Issue ManagementServe as the primary driver for scope alignment, risk/issue management, escalation paths, and decision capture for all security SMAC projects, including rapid re-planning for site constraints, outage windows, and operational impacts.Documentation SMEAct as the documentation subject matter expert (SME), expediting revisions and changes to technical documentation (drawings/as-builts, SOPs, access control procedures, device inventories, testing records, turnover packages) for a large number of projects.Stakeholder EngagementBuild consensus among diverse stakeholders, own RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and manage change management artifacts for security implementations at scale.Client ManagementMeet regularly with client management for structured reviews of delivery health, open risks, upcoming site impacts, and resource constraints across multiple projects.Design Engineering & Construction / AuditsProgram Delivery Across Multiple SitesDirect daily operations and implement standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure a cohesive, consistent, and uniform program, specifically for security SMAC delivery in PoP, COLO, and other operational environments.Audit LeadershipPlan and support audit test programs, execute audit fieldwork testing, and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of physical and environmental security across multiple sites.Technology MasteryRapidly learn and master new security platforms, site standards, and operational constraints to support high-volume project delivery.Qualifications5 years of technical project management experience supporting security implementations, infrastructure, facilities, or mission-critical environments, with a strong emphasis on managing 50+ PoP, COLO, or other projects concurrently and on an ongoing basis.Bachelor’s degree in related field or relevant experience.Proficient with Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project.Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organization.Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding setting, managing multiple concurrent security SMAC workstreams across geographically distributed sites.Ability to quickly learn and master new technology.Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign.The estimated pay range for this position is USD $70.00/Hour.
