The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting executive leadership.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining accurate financial records, we want to hear from you.What You’ll Do As our Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial transparency.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate records of all financial transactionsUpdate and manage the general ledgerReconcile accounting system entries, debits, and creditsMaintain and reconcile trial balancesPerform monthly bank reconciliationsConduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracyOversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processesEnsure receivables are collected promptlyMaintain petty cash fundPrepare and issue financial statementsPerform financial analysis and variance reportingCalculate and process monthly and quarterly sales tax for all companiesSupport annual audits and provide documentation to external auditorsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirementsMaintain organized accounting records and filing systemsPerform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by managementWhat We’re Looking For Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred8 years of related accounting experienceStrong experience in:Account ReconciliationAccounts Payable & Accounts ReceivablePayroll ProcessingFinancial ReportingPrevious managerial or leadership experience in an accounting or finance department. Experience selecting and implementing accounting systems is a plus Skills & Qualifications: Strong knowledge of finance, financial planning, accounting, and tax areasAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Experience with accounting software requiredExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalismStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and exercise sound judgmentStrong communication skills with ability to present financial information to leadership Why Join Us?
