Any employment offer extended will be conditional upon contract award and successful completion of all required pre-employment processes, which may include background checks, drug screening, verification of work eligibility, and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance, if required by the position.\n\nJob Description:\nPlans, coordinates, manages and directs operational activities for all afloat and ashore MCMC functions and activities of the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program. The position requires comprehensive knowledge and experience of Marine Corps logistical functions including equipment maintenance, supply chain management and Marine Corps Maritime Prepositioning Force Operations. This position is responsible for logistic support activities involving various aspects of maintenance production performance, cost, schedule controls, operations planning, performance monitoring and efficiencies, report writing, program planning, MAGTF exercise support and customer interface.\n\nResponsibilities:\nCoordinate, manage and monitor the workings of various Divisions and Branches of the organization.\nEngages in planning and executing MPF Maintenance Cycle.\nDevelops support plans for MPS afloat activities to include exercise downloads and backloads.\nDevelops and maintains a strong, effective relationship with Blount Island Command, acting as primary interface between customer and daily program operations and administration.\nFormulates administrative and operational policies and procedures.\nDirects and coordinates, through staff, the activities of all functional areas to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel.\nIdentifies specific requirements for financials, people, facilities, and services needed to support the MCPP program.\nCorrelates requirements with program plans to ensure that required support is provided at the right time and place.\nMaintains applicable MCPP ISO 9001 and 14001 policies and procedures.\nImprove processes in support of operational goals.\nFormulate and implement organizational policies and procedures to maximize production.\nMonitor adherence to policies, regulations and procedures.\nEnsures quality of MCPP material and equipment production.\nMonitor, manage and improve the efficiency of functional support such as IT, HR, Maintenance Management, Safety and Environmental, Contracts and Finance. Facilitate coordination and communication between functional areas.\nProvides technical support where needed.\nLiaison with Program Manager and Senior Leadership Team.\nAssist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity.\nImplement and manage operational plans.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nQualifications\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nB.S. degree in logistical engineering, business, or related field. Equivalent experience accepted.\nAbility to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance\nUS Citizen and active US passport\nRelated military (MOS Qualified) - Marine Corps MOS 0402, 0411, 0430, 3002, 3010, 3043, 3510 or other military service equivalent.\nTen years of progressive experience with specialized knowledge of logistic support activities including eight years in a management capacity, involving various aspects of cost/schedule controls, performance monitoring, report writing, program planning and customer interface.\nUnderstanding of Environmental and Safety Programs\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nComprehensive knowledge and experience with MPF and USMC Ground Equipment Maintenance\nThorough knowledge of GCSS-MC\nGeneral knowledge of QMSS, LOGMARS, MS-Project, and MCPIC\n\nPrimary Location: US-FL-JACKSONVILLE\nWork Locations: USA-FL-JACKSONVILLE-REGENCY 9487 REGENCY SQUARE BLVD.
