Job Summary Learn to deal Blackjack at Horseshoe Indianapolis and start a rewarding career!
Paid training -$17 / hour. Training Academy begins Friday, May 22nd. Classes are Mon-Fri, your choice between 8am-12pm or 1pm-5pm.

The Dealer will create and maintain a fun, entertaining, party atmosphere for extended periods of time while dealing various table games. Will provide the best service experience for customers.
How You Will Create the Extraordinary Complies with Indiana Gaming Commission regulations, approved internal controls, as well as company policies.
Greet each guest with a bright, genuine smile and enthusiastic verbal greeting
Control pace/protection of the game and inform the Supervisor of any request or unusual play
Generate fun and excitement at all times while communicating with our guests.
Exchange cash for gaming chips according to established procedures
Change over deck of cards or dice, inspect and mix cards.
Verify bank roll fills with the supervisor and security personnel.
Maintain continuous inspection of cards or dice, ensure betting in compliance with game rules and minimums set.
Close game, sort cards, balance rack, count chips, and sign off with the supervisor.
Assist guests with questions on casino activities or refer to appropriate personnel.
What You Will Need High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous live casino dealing experience or completion of an approved training course in card and dice games.
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
Must possess excellent math skills and have the ability to multi-task.
Additional requirements
Responds to visual and aural cues.
Must be able to consistently meet the appearance and uniform standards for this position
Must have the manual dexterity to manipulate cards
Must be able to stand, reach, bend, twist, turn, grab, grip, sort and stack
Must be able to maneuver from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, strong odors, dust, loud noises and bright lights
Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
Access to gaming floor required
