The selected candidate will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services to assist the government in implementing and executing systems engineering processes to integrate mission systems into the operational baseline with our customer in Chantilly, VA.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAdvise and assist the government with the planning, engineering, integration, and O&M activities of mission systems.\n\nAnalyze and document site system architecture and impacts associated with system updates/deliveries.\n\nCollaborate with Headquarters Directorates, site organizations, and mission partners to ensure understanding of project requirements and risks (cost, schedule, technical).\n\nDocument, develop and deliver analysis, recommendations, plans, reports/briefings to the Government.\n\nDevelop and maintain Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models of mission systems, integrating MBSE tools into a digital thread to connect siloed information systems.\n\nLeverage digital twin technologies and modeling and simulation tools to support early-stage risk reduction, operational rehearsal, and system performance verification.\n\nSupport the development and integration of automated test solutions and continuous improvement in software design and architecture.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nActive Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.\n\nUS Citizenship is required.\n\nBachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 9 years of experience OR Master's degree in STEM field with 7 years of experience.\n\nKnowledge of customer’s space and ground domain mission and technical capabilities.\n\nSystems engineering background; understanding of systems development life cycle from concept, requirements, engineering design, integration and test, deployment, maintenance, through decommissioning.\n\nExperience in requirements definition, system architectures, systems analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation, and verification.\n\nPolished communicator and proven collaborator; demonstrated ability to coordinate across all levels of government to ensure contracts effectively deliver required services and capabilities.\n\nSelf-starter, proactively addresses customer requirements with no supervision; expert at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics.\n\nFamiliar with model-based systems engineering and digital engineering concepts and tools; Agile/DevSecOps development methodology, cloud technologies.\n\nDesired Qualifications\n\nExperience in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling DoD or Intelligence Community projects or Programs.\n\nExperience in architecture management, baseline audit, and verification.\n\nFamiliar with JIRA, Confluence.\n\nProficiency in using modeling tools and software (e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect, or Capella).\n\nFamiliarity with modeling languages such as SysML or UAFML.\n\nExperience with cloud-based technologies and automation to optimize platform performance and reliability.\n\nBenefits\nAt Noblis we recognize and reward your contributions, provide you with growth opportunities, and support your total well‑being. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part‑time or on‑call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked.
