{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"7f7ee11267b2f7a2b1428453","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/7f7ee11267b2f7a2b1428453","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/7f7ee11267b2f7a2b1428453","title":"Inspector 2nd Shift","description":"POSITION: Inspector 2nd Shift\nLOCATION: Jupiter, FL.\nSTATUS: Hourly non-exempt\n\nJOB SUMMARY\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:\nPerforms assessment on various gas turbine components received for inspection by following written procedures, documents (blueprints, drawings, and specifications), and established practices\nPerforms visual inspections as required\nPerforms First Article Inspection Report inspections and maintains documentation\nInterfaces with engineering and order execution regarding recommendations for work instruction and router improvements\nGenerates NCRs in QSI system\nReviews job paperwork through entire inspection process to ensure completeness and conformity\nUtilizes precision measuring equipment as required for incoming assessment\nOperates small cranes to move equipment, parts, and material\nMaintains a clean and orderly work area\nFollowing Environmental Health and Safety regulations while working in fast-paced environment.\nPerforming waste handling in accordance to EHS procedures & legal requirements, such as:\nSegregating waste generated\nPlacing hazardous and non-hazardous waste in appropriate containers\nMaintaining waste containers closed and in good condition\nLabeling waste containers with appropriate hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste labels\nMarking the start accumulation date to hazardous waste label once the container in the satellite accumulation area becomes full.\nArranging internal waste transfer to central accumulation area\nContain and clean up area incidental spills\nOther duties as assigned\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nEducation & Training\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent\nComplete Specific on-the-job training towards meeting essential duties and work area performance criteria.\nMust complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM’s EHS Training Matrix, which includes:\nInitial and annual Hazardous Waste Management training.\nSkills/Experience\n2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment\nExperience with interpretation of technical drawings or work instructions\nBasic knowledge of MS Office programs, SAP, and time keeping applications\nMust be detail orientated\n\nPhysical Requirements\nStooping/Crouching. Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.\nKneeling. Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.\nCrawling. Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.\nReaching. Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.\nStanding. Particularly for sustained periods of time\nWalking. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work area to another.\nPushing & Pulling\nLifting up to 50 lbs. Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.\nGrasping. Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.\nRepetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.\nThe worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.\nThe worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.\nThe worker is subject to hazards.
