HVAC/R Service Technician

Sheet Metal Workers Local 16 has multiple contractors that are looking for Experienced HVAC Service Technicians Great pay with health care, health reimbursement account, overtime after 8 hours worked, and contributions into 2 pension plans. Experienced applicants we are looking for should have the following: General Requirements: Clean Driving Record Quality customer service skills Team Player Competent with Computer/I-pad Electrical needs/ requirements LEB EPA Electrical trouble shooting Unit familiarity/ comfortable working on: Liebert RTU Built up systems VAV Packaged heat pumps Hydronic heat pumps VRF systems ( service not install ) Fans, Motors and Pumps: Motor Bearing replacement Pump seals Pump Bearing Assembly repairs Supply, return, exhaust Controls: Able to navigate some control systems at a minimum Ability to test input/out puts and understand what you are testing Understand a controls system sequence of operations Overall Understandings and Experience with: VFD operations and trouble shooting (does not need to be a start up tech) Refrigeration circuit knowledge Economizer trouble shooting and retro fit to Jade and/or Belimo Cooling Towers O6D compressors Braze and solder techniques Chiller operation is a plus but not required BENEFITS PAID BY EMPLOYER ON TOP OF YOUR WAGES!
