DescriptionJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role involves processing employee pay for various business units using Workday (HRIS system) and UKG (Kronos Workforce Central timekeeping system). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess nine weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for both exempt and non-exempt employees across multiple business units, including unionized and non-union employees.Assess incoming payroll information such as time and attendance, garnishments, benefits, and tax changes, ensuring all data is accurate.Verify payroll input and output, including the generation of W-2s in Workday.Troubleshoot routine payroll processing and timekeeping issues within Workday and UKG/Kronos.Report on and reconcile payroll payments to third-party providers.RequirementsQualifications:Payroll certification with a minimum of five years of experience in a fast-paced payroll environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong knowledge of payroll and time and attendance systems; experience with Workday and UKG/Kronos is preferred.Familiarity with state and federal payroll regulations, collective agreements, benefits plans, and accounting principles.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively collaborating with managers and employees to address payroll-related inquiries.Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy in payroll processing.
