This role is responsible for developing test plans, authoring technical procedures, executing system-level testing, analyzing results, and ensuring products meet customer requirements, military standards, and regulatory compliance.\nThis opportunity is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges while working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver mission-critical products.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nTest Planning & Verification\nDevelop test plans, verification strategies, and acceptance criteria from system requirements.\nCreate and maintain Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs), verification plans, and technical test documentation.\nSupport system Verification & Validation (V&V) throughout the product development lifecycle.\nDefine test objectives to validate functionality, performance, reliability, and compliance.\n\nTest Development & Execution\nPlan and execute:\nFunctional Testing\nIntegration Testing\nEnvironmental Testing\nPerformance Testing\nQualification Testing\nConfigure test equipment, instrumentation, and supporting software.\nDocument test results and verify compliance with engineering requirements.\nTroubleshoot hardware and software issues, identify root causes, and support corrective actions.\n\nDocumentation & Reporting\nPrepare and maintain:\nAcceptance Test Procedures (ATPs)\nTest Plans\nTest Procedures\nVerification Reports\nTest Reports\nEngineering Documentation\nMaintain organized records supporting customer and regulatory requirements.\nPresent technical findings and recommendations to engineering teams and program leadership.\n\nEngineering Support\nInterpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, interface documentation, and technical specifications.\nCollaborate with systems, software, electrical, and project engineering teams throughout development.\nRecommend improvements to product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and test processes.\n\nTest Automation & Continuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve testing efficiency through automation.\nDevelop or support automated test scripts using C/C++, Python, or similar programming languages.\nImprove testing methodologies, documentation, and engineering processes.\nStay current on emerging testing technologies and industry best practices.\n\nCompliance & Quality\nEnsure products comply with customer requirements, military standards, and quality management systems.\nSupport qualification testing in accordance with applicable MIL-STDs and other regulatory requirements.\nParticipate in design reviews, verification activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nExperience developing and executing verification and validation (V&V) test plans.\nExperience writing Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) and technical test documentation.\nAbility to read and interpret:\nElectrical schematics\nEngineering drawings\nTechnical documentation\nFamiliarity with MIL-STD qualification testing and defense industry testing requirements.\nExperience performing system verification and qualification testing.\nWorking knowledge of C/C++, or a comparable programming language.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in an engineering discipline.\nExperience supporting aerospace or defense programs.\nExperience using laboratory and environmental test equipment, including:\nOscilloscopes\nSpectrum Analyzers\nEnvironmental Chambers\nKnowledge of:\nMIL-STD requirements\nDO-178C\nDO-254\nAS9100\nExperience developing automated test solutions using Python, C/C++, or similar programming languages.\n\nDesired Skills\nStrong understanding of systems integration, verification, and qualification methodologies.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex electrical, software, and system-level issues.\nExcellent organizational and technical documentation skills.\nAbility to manage multiple engineering priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional engineering teams.\nCommitment to quality, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.\n\nIdeal Background\nWe're looking for a Test Engineer with experience supporting complex aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated engineering environments.
