This role ensures accurate inventory management, safe material handling, and the timely preparation of orders for shipment. Operating forkliftsincluding high reach trucksis essential, along with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.\r\nTasks/Duties/Responsibilities:\r\nReceive and unload materials\r\nPalletize and prepare orders for shipment on occasion\r\nWork to maintain inventory stock and an organized warehouse\r\nTransport wire and materials throughout facility on a forklift\r\nMaintain safety standards and organized work environment\r\nKnowledge/Skills/Requirements:\r\nForklift operation proficiency, high reach preferred\r\nAbility to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions and directions\r\nAbility to stand and move about facility for extended periods\r\nAbility to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Assistance provided as needed.\r\nHigh school diploma/GED (General Equivalency Diploma) or one year related industrial experience or equivalent training\r\nPosition Requirements:\r\nPersonal protective equipment is required\r\nContinuous participation in company safety training\r\nCompany forklift operation and certification\r\nPhysical Demands/Work Environment:\r\nWork environment is comparable to outdoor temperatures\r\nRegularly stands, bends, and reaches for extended periods\r\nRegularly moves about the facility\r\nRegularly lifts and moves materials up to 50 pounds\r\nOccasionally required to move up to 100 pounds by pushing, pulling, or sliding material.
