Reporting to IT Management, you will contribute to driving our growth by leveraging technology across a global enterprise. You will be responsible for developing and executing the IT strategy, including partnering with the company's leadership team to define technology requirements and solutions, drive innovation, and ensure success and efficiencies across the organization.\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nHelp build the roadmap and provide the strategic vision to align the IT organization around key business initiatives, focusing on an increased demand for data management and cross system integration based on business needs.\nDrive the roadmap to streamline, standardize, and strengthen performance, reliability, robustness and scalability across the company.\nProvide end-user application support delivering extraordinary customer service.\nHelp set strategic and tactical direction for the use of IT systems, which includes budgets and return on investment.\nProvide innovative leadership, motivation, and guidance required for world-class IT to successfully meet strategic objectives and deliverables in support of the business needs.\nFoster a culture of collaboration and support through coaching and mentoring\nCommunicate and influence team members at all levels.\nContinually evaluate new technology trends balancing the need for enterprise-ready technology with a desire to innovate\nDefine and execute IT plans to deploy new systems, tools and technology and ensure smooth adoption in a strict Sarbanes-Oxley environment\nCoach scrum team to higher levels of agile execution.\nIdentify opportunities to use automation and data to improve business performance.\nImprove upon existing services by seeking opportunities to creatively transform into improved solutions.\nFocus the team on continuous improvement.\nWork as a key liaison with business users and technical teams and translate business requirements into technical requirements.\nWork with the product owner and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems to help design optimal solutions.\nProvide clarity and guidance when working with developers to solve technical and analytical issues.\nDeliver clear written and oral communication with cross functional teams.\nEnsure processes meet all applicable compliance and regulatory requirements, including EEO, HIPPA, GDPR, and SOX.\nMeasure results regularly and drive to benchmarked best practices\nHelp select and manage outside vendors that satisfy business needs, regulatory requirements and budget considerations\nSupport company goals and objectives, policies and procedures that comply with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485, and any other applicable domestic or international requirements.\nMaintain a professional and credible image with key physicians, distributors, consultants, vendors, and co-workers.\nActively work to promote the Sight Sciences culture focused on team building and morale within the IT department.\nCarry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations governing our business practices.\nEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS\nBS/BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field\nEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\n3-5 years of technology experience with responsibility maintaining and implementing Business systems.\nOTHER QUALIFICATIONS\nAn understanding of and experience in the medical device industry is a plus\nExperience planning, designing and implementing efficient business and system solutions.\nSuperior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical ability.\nAbility to demonstrate effective leadership in ambiguous and frequently changing situations.\nEffective communication and business partnering ability.\nAbility to balance short-term tactical decisions with long term strategic thinking.
