You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and APIs, UIs, data management services and analytical tools\n\nThis position supports 80% remote work with one day per week in Chantilly, VA or Woodbridge VA.\n\nThe candidate will be required to pass a high-risk public trust background investigation\n\nPosition Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop and implement capabilities to support the intake, analysis, processing, management, and visualization of digital evidence\nDevelop custom software components, data processing pipelines, and analytical modules to extend or enhance digital evidence handling capabilities.\nEnsure integrations and developments improve digital evidence data management, analytical efficiency, automation, and exploitation performance.\nProvide technical documentation, configuration support, and knowledge transfer to maintain system interoperability, reliability, and scalability.\nCollaborate with product and data teams to align data solutions with mission requirements, use cases, and end-user experience goals.\nParticipate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.\nAssist in implementing DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.\nContribute to containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n3+ years of professional experience in software engineering roles.\nProficiency in Java, JavaScript and SQL\nProficiency in Java Spring and ReactJS\nSolid understanding of relational database design and experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server.\nExperience with shell scripting such as Bash\nProven ability to analyze and work with structured and unstructured data.\nStrong technical and computational skills, with the ability to relate data to business or mission objectives and user needs.\nExperience with DevOps tools and workflows, particularly using GitLab.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Containerd, Kubernetes, etc.).\nTop Secret clearance or High Risk Public Trust Suitability\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools such as Terraform and Ansible\nExperience with Observability concepts and tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki and Tempo\nExposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Nutanix.\nExperience designing or supporting multi-tenant architectures.\nExperience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems such as Keycloak.\nExperience with data query, visualization, and search tools such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Metabase, or Trino.\nPlease note: The listed salary range reflects our market-based compensation structure.
