Your ideas and leadership will directly impact customer satisfaction and business performance.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nLead daily final-mile terminal operations.\nCoach, mentor, and develop warehouse and delivery associates.\nRecruit, manage, and build strong partnerships with independent contractors.\nDrive improvements in safety, service, quality, and cost performance.\nMonitor operational KPIs and implement continuous improvements.\nOversee inbound and outbound freight, staging, repairs, returns, and claims.\nEnsure next-day deliveries are properly audited and prepared.\nMaintain high levels of on-time delivery performance while minimizing damages.\nConduct ride-alongs with delivery teams to coach performance and improve customer experience.\nMonitor routes throughout the day and proactively resolve issues.\nManage labor planning, staffing, scheduling, and peak season operations.\nMaintain compliance with company policies and safety standards.\nManage operating budgets and achieve financial objectives.\nWhat We're Looking For\nMinimum 5 years of Final Mile/Last Mile delivery management experience.\n3–5+ years leading distribution, warehouse, or transportation operations.\nFurniture delivery experience strongly preferred.\nExperience recruiting and managing independent contractors.\nStrong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.\nExperience using KPIs to improve operational performance.\nWarehouse Management System (WMS) experience.\nStrong Microsoft Office skills.\nExcellent communication and relationship-building abilities.\nHighly organized with exceptional problem-solving skills.\nBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.\nCompensation & Work Model\nSalary: $95,000–$105,000\nFull-time\nOnsite\nComprehensive benefits package including:\nMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance\n401(k)\nLife Insurance\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Holidays\nLocation\nCarson, California\nThis is an onsite leadership role supporting a busy final-mile delivery terminal.\n\nHow to Apply\nTo apply or learn more, contact:\nhayley.bester@tappwfs.com\n\nAbout TAPP Workforce Solutions\nTAPP Workforce Solutions is a specialized recruitment and workforce solutions firm supporting organizations across skilled trades, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and professional services.
