This role is ideal for an EIT who wants variety early in their career, strong mentorship, and exposure to how civil projects are actually planned, designed, and delivered.You'll work alongside experienced engineers on projects that may include grading and drainage design, stormwater systems, roadway and access improvements, utilities, and municipal or commercial site work — gaining hands-on experience instead of being siloed into production-only tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesCivil Design & Technical SupportAssist with civil engineering design for site development, drainage, utilities, and related infrastructureApply engineering principles to grading, stormwater, and infrastructure layoutsSupport preparation of calculations, plans, and technical documentationProject ExposureWork on projects from early design through construction supportParticipate in site visits and construction-related activities as neededBuild an understanding of project schedules, budgets, and client expectationsGrowth & DevelopmentTake on increasing responsibility as technical skills progressLearn directly from senior engineers through active project involvementDevelop communication and coordination skills working with internal teams and clientsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related disciplineEngineer-in-Training (EIT), PE license, or actively pursuing certification2–5 years of relevant civil engineering experienceFamiliarity with civil design principles related to site, drainage, utilities, or transportationExposure to civil design and review tools such as Civil 3D (preferred), Bluebeam, and stormwater modeling software (e.g., StormCAD, PSCwim; HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS a plus)Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a teamWhy This Role Works for EITsThis team is known for developing engineers the right way — by giving them real responsibility, guidance, and exposure to multiple project types.
