This position supports the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM), specifically within the Public Health Education Division, by providing course development and instruction related to key public health programs and operational needs of the U.S. Air Force.\r\nResponsibilities The Instructor/Course Developer will serve as a subject matter expert in public health, supporting the development of lesson plans and instructional delivery using standardized Air Force Instructional System Development methodology. Additional responsibilities include:\r\nExperience as a qualified DoD instructor or possess the ability to attain qualification (Basic Instructor Course and formal internship)\r\nAssociate's degree in education or related field\r\nMinimum 3 years of teaching experience and/or experience providing educational support for a formal education program or related area\r\nExperience in Office 365 tools (MS Windows, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Publisher, MS Teams, MS Planner, MS Power BI, and Microsoft Forms)\r\nNon-Disclosure Agreement required through the contractor's company\r\nRequirements\r\nAssociate's degree in public health or higher education\r\nMinimum of 8 years of experience in a public health-related field\r\nMust obtain Basic Instructor Course (BIC) certification within 1 year if not already certified\r\nAdvanced skills using standard public health equipment and data systems\r\nUS Citizenship required\r\nHighly Desired Skills\r\nExperience in AF Medical Service leadership at the flight level or above and/or clinical experience\r\nQualified Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) instructor or previous CCAF instructor (experience with the ability to qualify as a returning instructor applies)\r\nMaster Instructor certification and/or 250+ teaching hours\r\nExperience, knowledge, and understanding of applicable Air Force, military, and professional standards\r\nPerformance Standards\r\nReceive an \"acceptable\" rating on all evaluated lessons per USAFSAM/ED protocols\r\nReceive an \"acceptable\" annual instructor evaluation\r\nPromptly implement corrective actions based on student feedback trends\r\nMaintain documentation with no more than two minor formatting and one minor text error\r\nProSource360 Consulting Services, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
