(Programs and Tooling).\nCreate standard work instructions to assist with the setup of new programs and existing programs.\nChoose appropriate tooling for machining operations with correct cutting parameters.\nTrouble shoot CNC programs and implement process improvements.\nWork with engineering to overcome any issues with process or fixtures.\nProvide support and resolve technical problems as the arise.\nEdit and convert existing programs for different machines and work centers.\nDevelop and integrate programming techniques that will enhance process productivity and enable increased quality.\nImplement and recommend continuous improvement efforts.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications and Education Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nDue to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee be a US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)\nCandidates must have at least six (6) years of relevant experience in aerospace or general manufacturing.\nCandidates must have demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, CAD modeling, Cam programming & general machining practices.\nMinimum 6 years programming experience on 3, 4 and 5-Axis CNC Mills\nThe candidate must have experience using Mastercam.
