Our dedication to quality, exceptional customer service, and unequivocal results allow us to provide the best outcomes to our clients.Job SummaryAs an Environmental Services Manager, you will assist in managing day to day operational needs of the housekeeping/environmental services department at a 245 bed acute care hospital. You will coordinate the tasks of 15-20 department associates per shift and assist in training and development. You will serve as a liaison between administration and unit departments and provide the highest possible level of service.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for department’s financial data and statisticsMonitoring of unit expendituresDevelops and recommends department operating budget and ensure the department operates within budgetCoordinates housekeeping activities with other departmentsPlans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and supervises functions and activities of the departmentEstablishes work standards and work flowEstablishes and implements policies and procedures for departmental operationsEncourages and mentor staff creativity and innovationEnsures compliance with all regulatory agenciesProactive in the achievement of the facility goals and objectivesDemonstrates quality leadership in meeting performance plansReads, develops, and administers Total Quality Management processAdditional duties as assignedQualifications:Must have environmental services or housekeeping experienceOne to three years of supervisory/management experience is requiredExperience in an acute care hospital or long term care facility preferredStrong work ethic, drive, and initiative for quality and customer serviceExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skills both one-on-one and in group situationsAbility to use a participative approach to managing staffUnderstanding of budgeting processes and awareness of profit and loss conceptsExcellent administrative and organizational skills and the ability to prioritizeAbility to function appropriately under stressful conditionsCRCST or any other applicable sterile processing certification is preferredProficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internetApply to TouchPoint today!TouchPoint is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
