The role centers on administering the Preventive Maintenance (PM) system, planning and scheduling daily maintenance work, and managing parts inventory and purchasing.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:\nAdheres and operates within the prescribed budget limits set forth for the Maintenance Manager.\nAssure all critical and spare parts for equipment are readily available. Researches and requests repair parts as necessary.\nCompletes all necessary paperwork related to planned and unplanned work performed.\nConducts spot checks for PM completion\nEnsure that all equipment failures are attended immediately by assigning the right person and demonstrating a high sense of urgency.\nEnsure that all Preventative Maintenance Activities are efficiently and adequately performed and completed in a timely manner before due date.\nEnsures proper planning and tracking of installation, maintenance, and repairs to machinery, equipment, physical structures and electrical systems in the manufacturing facility and offices.\nGenerates purchase orders and places orders for parts and services within authority limits.\nIs punctual, on time, and adheres to company attendance policies. Regular Attendance is an essential job function.\nMaintains and controls shop part inventory.\nManagement retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time.\nMeets and exceeds qualitative and quantitative performance standards as established by management.\nPerforms job function in adherence to safety instructions and rules. Does not perform any job, duty, or function for which employee has not received training.\nSchedules and coordinates work completed by maintenance mechanics and outside vendors\nUnderstands and administers Preventive Maintenance system and its implementation. Reviews work logs, work orders, PM sheets.\nWorks closely with Maintenance Manager to track expenses and analyzes Maintenance Department Key Performance Indicators.\nWorks closely with the Operations, Process and Maintenance Manager and other departments in order to eliminate downtime and to improve operational efficiencies.\nWorks from manufacturer’s manuals and specifications to keep equipment and machinery in proper working condition.\nWhy Join Us?
