In this position you would be familiar with creating, updating, and managing Postgres databases and the code that interacts with them.\n\nQualifications Required\nBS Degree and minimum of 5-8 years' experience\nCurrent Top Secret Clearance\nExperience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) solutions, such as Oracle, Postgres, or related systems.\nSecurity+ Certification (Must be obtained within 60 days of start).\n\nDesired Skills:\nValid Security+ Certification\nExperience troubleshooting database issues such as DR, replication & backups and other related issues.\nExperience with database security controls and audit & compliance requirements.\nExperience with NoSQL database products such as MongoDB.\nExperience with AWS services.\nExperience with automating routine tasks.\n\nResponsibilities:\nIdentify and understand customer needs and apply sound, demonstrable understanding of database principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering to translate those needs to viable design solutions.\nDemonstrate critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well.\nSuccessfully integrate Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products as part of customer-driven solutions.\nUse proven problem solving and analytical skills.\nThe ability to obtain and maintain SCI program access and complete polygraphs.\n\nPlease respond to Meredith Baldwin with your interest level, recent copy of your resume and your availability for a call to Mbaldwin@geologics.com\n\nRates listed are not a guarantee of salary/rate.
