Position Title: Sr OpenShift Engineer Location: Dallas, TX, Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL and Phoenix, AZRemote/Onsite: Onsite 5 days Acceptable time zone(s): CST Days of the week: M-F Working Hours: 8a-5p , OT: No Travel: Might be required 1-2 times a year for team meetings Intended length of Assignment: through 5/31/2027 Potential for Contract Extension: Yes Contract to Hire W2Function of the Group: Supports and Enhances enterprise Initiatives/Projects: Vendor Application Maintenance Industry background: Software Engineering/technology background. Enterprise level and involving vendor software. Team Dynamic: Team of 12 people Roles and Responsibilities: Focus is on Service Mesh, Good understanding of networking concepts, PCP, supporting applications, troubleshooting issues, and building automation. Must Have Technical Skills: Years of experience:5-8+ yrs OpenShift Python AnsibleCI/CD pipelines Flex Skills/Nice to Have: Service Mesh Java Soft Skills: Strong Communication and Technical documentation Express technical concepts in non-technical ways Education/Certifications: Bachelors of Science or equivalent experience Interview Process: One 45min - 1 hour virtual panel interview that involves technical portion and team fit discussion
