Project Manager","description":"Capex Project Manager The Capex Project Manager will prepare, lead, execute and deliver best-in-class capex projects to add value to Nouryon.\r\nResponsibilities Manage a site's capex portfolio, including both execution and forecasting.\r\nPrepare, lead, execute and deliver capex projects safely within defined scope, schedule, budget and expected quality.\r\nSelect, lead and develop a multifunctional project team.\r\nApply and adhere to Nouryon's project management methodology (NPM).\r\nEnsure compliance with company directives.\r\nTake ownership, bringing value to the business with accountability for the capex part of an assigned capital investment.\r\nAct as facilitator/technical contributor in the Initiation and Study Phase (FEL-1 and FEL-2), ensuring endorsement and approval of the handed-over engineering package by the business/site representative.\r\nEnsure completeness and quality of the appropriate deliverables for the current stage-gate of the project.\r\nGenerate the project's Appropriation Request (AR) for each stage-gate and obtain sign-off for execution.\r\nEnsure project safety, including meeting process safety requirements and safely executing design/construction activities.\r\nQualifications Bachelor, master or doctorate level qualification in mechanical, civil, electrical engineering or related disciplines.\r\nRelevant experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry is preferred.\r\nMinimum 10 years of experience in project management.\r\nStrong strategic and conceptual skills with the ability to execute and follow through.\r\nAbility to drive continuous improvement of processes, policies and standards.\r\nLeadership skills demonstrated by showing presence in the room.\r\nInclusive teamwork to create a unified voice and achieve collective objectives.\r\nExcellent interpersonal skills: influencing, persuading, entrepreneurship, results-oriented, negotiation, problem-solving.\r\nGood structured and analytical skills.\r\nStrong communication and presentation skills in English, both verbal and written.\r\nOpen to innovation, change and flexibility in the work environment.\r\nAbility to impart
