In support of their cloud journey, your role will have opportunities to learn about their existing application, collaborate, trouble shoot, and execute on efforts that allow for the replacement of legacy functionality with equivalent cloud solutions. Key Activities Applies the principles of software engineering to the design, implementation, configuration, and optimization of solutions in support of applications, databases, test automation tools, and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products. Demonstrates technical skill in Java and a domain specific language (HTML, SQL, proprietary vendor language, etc.), as needed. Performs peer reviews using software engineering principles, patterns, and development guidelines. Partners with customers in the development of innovative solutions that achieve business goals. Reviews and analyzes business and technical requirements and implements technical solutions to meet those requirements. Provides on-call support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, incident management, and service request management for supported products and environments Required Qualifications Typically requires at least 6-10 years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience. Languages: Java, SQL, Python, Shell Scripting.Frameworks/Libraries: AWS SDK, Spring, Maven.AWS Services: ECS, S3, IAM.Software: Docker, Gitlab, IntelliJ IDE.
