A successful candidate in this role must have the ability to self-motivate and work in a detail-oriented, fast-paced, multi-network environment.\nThis role will interact with many internal and external partners such as Media Services, Programming, Media Engineering, Broadcast Operations, Sales, and Marketing. Candidate must always maintain a high level of customer service. As a key point of contact for VOD delivery and CableLabs ADI metadata management, the role will also be accountable for database accuracy and assuring the technical compliance requirements of our VOD partners.\nResponsibilities: Confirm all entertainment programming assets are delivered as scheduled by programming teams.\nProvide timely communication and resolution to incoming partner/dMVPD inquiries and support requests.\nExecute distribution delivery planners and communicate delivery schedules to all entitled partners/dMVPD's.\nExecute communication of takedown alerts and affiliate alerts for high profile content deliveries and programming priorities.\nRedeliver VOD packages to partner/dMVPD's, as required.\nTrack partner/dMVPD issues.\nOversee automated and manual Aspera VOD and DAI ad and promo deliveries to MVPD's and monitor all distribution to ensure timeliness of deliveries.\nPerform daily reporting and tactical tasks related to Canoe DAI assets/metadata, Nielsen VOD TIC Encoding data, and daily management of DAI Google reports with Ad Sales.\nPerform deliveries of media using internal and external applications and tools including Aspera, Signiant, Media Monorail and other internal systems to domestic clients.\nManage failures in VOD workflow including trouble shooting automation, manually packaging content when necessary, providing operational support to our VOD partners and ensure all deliveries ordered can be fulfilled in a timely manner.\nBe a subject matter expert in all department workflows, databases, and software.\nBe a part of a strong, high functioning team that's able to execute assignments effectively and efficiently.\nEnsure the prompt resolution of high-level issues related to file integrity, media attributes, and content compliance.\nFollow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist in documenting department processes.\nHave an attitude of continuous improvement.\nAssist manager in developing, maintaining, and enforcing media management, storage and content security policies.\nLiaison with various client departments and provide a high level of customer service.\nExperience: 1-3 years of media distribution, post-production, or broadcast operations experience. Internship or entry-level experience in a media-related role is acceptable.\nSkillsets: Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations.\nMust be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.\nExceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Team player.\nStrong understanding of audio/video file formats, television standards, film formats, codecs, bitrates, frame rates, video resolutions, aspect ratios, broadcast audio configurations and electronic delivery technologies.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office & Google Suite products.\nMust work well with little or no supervision and have a strong attention to detail.\nUnderstanding of Aspera SFTP software and CableLabs ADI packaging spec.\nVOD content delivery and management skills are a plus, including knowledge of industry trends in the non-linear space.\nEducation: Bachelor's degree is desired or relevant work experience in media packaging and distribution.\nAbout US Tech Solutions: US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
