Through new technologies, meticulous engineering and an obsession for improvement, we find new and better ways to achieve basic but important daily tasks.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe seek a Hardware Engineer to help design and define our next generation of exciting products and product features, and to bring those products from concept to production. The Hardware Engineer will solve challenging engineering problems by selecting components, designing schematics, layout and bringing up & debugging circuits in the lab. The engineer will define test criteria and execute these test plans on functional prototypes to demonstrate the robustness of designs. The engineer will work with many cross-functional teams including program managers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, QA engineers, as well as numerous third-party vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers. This is a full-time role in our Torrance, CA office.\n\nAbout You\n\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.\n1-4 years of relevant industry experience designing consumer electronics and/or embedded systems.\nStrong knowledge of electronics hardware design, including analog and digital circuit design and signal/power integrity.\nExperience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools. *Altium Designer is highly preferred.\nStrong knowledge of developing schematic and PCB layout for multi-layer high-speed PCB techniques.\nFamiliarity with embedded system design, including microcontrollers, power management, low power design, and communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I2C.\nExperience with design verification and validation testing, including functional testing and environmental testing.\nStrong sense of drive and ownership to move projects forward\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nCulture\n\nWe are a mature company with the soul of a start-up.
